Where alerts and invoices are sent: the technical and finance email
Quriobot sends two kinds of email to an organization: alerts, when something in your bots needs attention, and billing mail, such as invoices. Each kind has its own address in the organization settings, so alerts reach the people who can fix them and invoices reach your accounting.
Where to set it
Go to Organization > Organization settings and open the General tab. Above the financial settings you find:
- Technical email: the addresses for alerts. You can enter several, separated by commas, for example
web@example.com, ops@example.com. - Finance email: the addresses for billing mail.
Save the form, and the next alert goes to the new addresses.
What goes to the technical email
- A channel that stops working: Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp (Twilio and 360dialog), Telegram, Viber, LINE, MessageBird, X (Twitter) and Google Business Messages.
- An integration error: OpenAI, Azure AI Speech, Freshdesk and Google Drive.
- A response connection that fails, and one that is switched off after repeated errors.
- An automation rule error in a campaign, a live chat or an OpenAI integration.
- The report of Make AI assess your bot responses.
- A problem with the bot widget on your website (“Widget Issue Detected”), and the all-clear when it is fixed.
- A change in the reputation of your own sending email addresses, such as a warning, or sending from them being paused.
What goes to the finance email
Invoices, payment confirmations and failed payments, subscription notices and usage-limit warnings. See Quriobot usage, invoices and their payments.
When the technical email is empty
An alert goes to the first address that is set, in this order:
- this organization’s technical email;
- the technical email of the organization that pays for it, with consolidated billing;
- the technical email of the agency that manages it;
- this organization’s finance email;
- the finance email of the organization that pays for it.
So the agency that manages an organization receives its alerts at the agency’s technical email (step 3), and at the agency’s finance email only when it also pays for the organization (step 5).
