Adding Quriobot to the Messenger of your Facebook page

To connect your bot to your Facebook page(s):

Step 1: Create a bot, SAVE IT.

Step 2: Go to the Channels tab -> Instant messengers

Step 3: Click on Add new channel of type Facebook and click Next

Step 4: Choose the page you want to connect it to. After giving the authorization to access your pages, you can select the page you want to connect your bot channel to and, set the additional settings.

Step 5:Each bot on Facebook can have up to 3 Persistent Menu items as they are called on Facebook. These menu items allow the user to switch to a live chat conversation or to Finish and (re)Start an automated Quriobot chat conversation, or just an arbitrary URL that you want to put in.

Note: We have added some default texts to these items, but these can be changed, removed, or reordered:

You also need to configure the Quriobot app to be the primary receiver of your page’s messages. These settings can be found on Page Settings (bottom left) > Advanced Messaging (in the menu on the left) > App Settings (see image below) > Configure (see image below):

and then to be able to fall back to the personal messaging, set Page Inbox App to be the secondary receiver:

That’s it! You have now connected your bot to your Facebook page!
