How to import the knowledge base content from Freshdesk
If you’d like to switch to our implementation of the knowledge base from Freshdesk’s one, here are the steps to take:
Step 1. Create Freshdesk integration using Organisation -> Integrations page:
Where subdomain is your Freshdesk subdomain name.
And the API key can be obtained from the profile settings. Learn more here.
Step 2. From your knowledge base edit page, select import creation:
Select integration type - Freshdesk
For the Integration - the previously created integration
Optionally, you can choose an append-only way of importing the content.
You can also optionally limit the import to the selected solution categories.
Step 3. Click save and wait for the import status to be Completed
Note that the import can be executed multiple times if needed.
