That is of course very unfortunate but can however be due to many reasons. The best step is always to check your source data file and see if the data is correct.


Most occurring issues are due to:

  • Files starting with an empty row - these need to be removed from the upload.
  • A single column in the upload file - there should always be at least two columns in the upload file.
  • Corrupt data due to file conversion - Our system works with UTF-8 encoding; sometimes an external system stores the files in a different encoding, please make sure this is UTF-8.
  • Not a CSV file - our Data upload accepts CSV files, so please save your file as CSV (this can be done in Excel for example) and everything should work fine!
